Mahmoud Keshavarz is a design researcher who is active in the field of politically-engaged design. Has a B.A. in Industrial Design from Azad University of Tehran and a M.F.A from The Experience Design Group at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. Where he has worked on a research project entitled 'Forms of Resistance' which discusses the role of designer in socio-political interventions. Has published several papers in various magazines and newspapers in Iran and International Conferences and has contribution to the 'Design Philosophy Politics' e-zine. Currently he is a PhD Student and instructor in Design at the School of Arts and Communication(K3) of Malmö University where he is working on various forms of 'the political' interventions by the materialistic language of design in particular space/time of statelessness and undocumentedness.
